Why Men Leave The Fantasy Relationship

asks Jimmy, a tall, forty-five year old Sicilian man, an irresistible charmer. I never say good-bye to one without a few more waiting in the wings, he says. It keeps me going. Is that so bad. Then he flashes his boyish grin. Although he never stays long, Jimmy has strong opinions on male female relationships. There s a conflict of roles, with no roles clearly defined. Women want monogamous relationships. Men don t want to get trapped. Men get guilty about leaving though. Believe it or not, it s hard to leave. We men do get guilty. Whatever we do we end up feeling like rats. Underneath all this are his feelings of dependency. Jimmy believes a man is nothing compared to a woman. A man really wants a woman to run the show, he says easily. A guy doesn t know what s going on. But he also wants the woman to let him think he s running it. If women could only understand that -boy. It s a subtle thing. Commenting on this issue, Dr. Robert...

Do I Smell Bad From Cigarettes?

We know it s not good for us; we know it might get us sick or dead; we know we smell because we use it; we know it s a bad habit; we know most people don t like us to do it next to them But then again We still do it. People start smoking because they are curious. They want to know the effect on other people, why they use it, and can t stop when they want to. Does it really make us feel better or calmer. Will it really make us a part of the group if we use it. We know the answers. When we are kids we think we should do what the other friends are doing and we smoke to be a part of the gang. When are older, we think it might help us with the stress we experience in our lives. Then it becomes a bad habit we can t get rid of. Sure the tobacco is addictive, but isn t that another lame excuse. When you want to stop something you do it. When you feel pain you stop doing what ever it is you do even if you like doing it because you don t...

Alarming Smoking Facts... Adding To Paper Work?

Smoking facts read like fiction. Deaths due to smoking contribute a great deal to population control, even though this is a negative way to control population. You can read the warning printed on the cigarette packs: Smoking is injurious to health. If we take an all-world picture, the statistics of deaths due to smoking looks like fantasy. But, who will give up smoking on the basis of statistics. They all know it. They desperately want to give up smoking, both from the health point of view and the financial point of view. The topmost among the New Year Resolutions, is to give up smoking. Every year, for the last several years. Hope you have understood. Why it is so difficult to give up smoking. Ask nicotine. Smoking is an addiction. Since tobacco smoke contains this poisonous element, a near-impossible addictive substance to give up, the smoker s plight is not condemnable, but pitiable. But what is the fault of indirect smokers...

Keeping American Meat Safe

The meat Americans buy is the safest it s ever been, according to industry experts. One reason is a 100-year-old federal law that puts meat inspectors in every meat plant. Yet most consumers don t understand the frequency or intensity of meat inspection done in the U.S. by the Department of Agriculture, according to new data from the American Meat Institute AMI . The 2006 data showed many consumers thought banking 35 percent is more heavily regulated and inspected than the meat industry 21 percent . Yet meat inspectors by law must be present in meat-packing plants during every minute of operations. Sixty percent of consumers also underestimated the inspection frequency, with most saying that inspectors visited plants occasionally. Only 12 percent of respondents responded accurately that meat inspectors are in packing plants continuously. A Healthy Effect While consumers may not be aware of inspectors presence, bacteria seem to...
